Netter’s Concise Radiologic Anatomy

The Concise Radiographic Anatomy app, one of over a dozen distinct iOS apps bearing the Netter name at the time of this review (a few of which have been reviewed here and here) consists of a collection of image pairs, the first an anatomic drawing containing pins identifying structures followed by a radiologic image (usually CT) identifying the same structures.

BOTTOM LINE:  The developers’ stated intent was to “bridge the gap from the manner in which anatomic features appear in Netter’s Atlas to their appearance in radiologic images…” and in that they have largely succeeded. Content limits imposed by the iPhone display may provide passing use to early radiology residents learning to identify radiographic anatomy, but it is too basic to be of lasting value.
